LYONS - John, Tarmon Road, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon - August 15, 2026, unexpectedly but peacefully, at Sligo University Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Bob and Nora, brother Michael and sister Mary. John will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Rose, son Paul, daughters Tanya and Ciara, sisters Irene, Margaret and Dympna, brothers Tom and Dermot, grandchildren Holly and James, daughter-in-law Lara, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. May He Rest In Peace. Reposing at his home (eircode F45 C670) on Monday evening from 4 pm - 7 pm. Funeral arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 am on Tuesday. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. John’s funeral Mass will be live-streamed on St. Patrick’s Church webcam. House is private on Tuesday morning, please.
