BEIRNE - Walter (Wally) (Late of Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin and Rochestown, Co. Cork). July 25, 2026. Peacefully, with his family in the kind care of the staff in St. Vincent's University Hospital. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his daughter Allison and son Vincent, cherished grandchildren Juno, Noa, Kaia and Mylo, son-in-law Feroz and daughter-in-law Sive, siblings Paddy, Rita and John, in-laws Charlie, Nancy and Noëlle, his many nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Kathleen, sister Mary and brother-in-law Francis. Funeral Service to Celebrate Wally's Life will take place tomorrow (Thursday) at 10am in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross, followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park, Ballycorus Road. For those who cannot attend, the service can be viewed online using the link on RIP. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Rutland Centre.
