CORCORAN - Joan Corcoran (nee Deegan) The Old Rectory, Spencer Street, Castlebar, formerly of Brideswell, Gorey, died 31st July 2024. As Joan’s second anniversary approaches, her husband Darach, her children Alex, Suzanne and John, and her six grandchildren Lillian, Ross, Noah, Tom, Ella and Grace would like to thank all who sympathised and supported them at the time of her death, at her funeral, and with Masses

and messages. We are particularly grateful to the staff of the Emergency Department, ICU and palliative care team in Mayo University Hospital, who cared for her with such kindness, to those friends who helped get the family home from Spain, to Canon Conal Eustace and Rocky Moran

for organising her beautiful funeral, and to Pat Jennings and his team in the Traveller’s Friend for looking after us so well afterwards. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. Joan’s Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 8th. August, 2026 at 10:00 am at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.
