DONLON, Patricia

DONLON - Dr. Patricia (Pat, Patsy) on 23rd July, remarkably peacefully in the gentle care of Blackrock Hospice. Formerly of the National Library, Tyrone Guthrie Centre Annamakerrig, Chester Beatty Library and the Royal Irish Academy. Predeceased by Phelim, her husband and champion, and so recently by her wonderful sister May Callan. She will remain forever in the hearts of her daughters Lorna and Sinead (Kelly), her grandchildren Rachel, Eva, Ruth, Hannah, Emma and Paddy, her son-in-law Paul and her sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews. She will be sorely missed by many dear friends who were like family to her, as were her lovely carers. Her busy world is hushed.

Reposing in Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Blackrock A94X308, on Wednesday 29th July from 5pm – 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint John the Baptist Church, Blackrock A94 YP08, on Thursday 30th July at 11am, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
