DAVIES - Shirley (née Freehill) who lived in Clontarf for over 90 years. Peacefully, on 8th July 2026, surrounded by family, in the wonderful care of Clontarf Hospital. Predeceased by her best friend and husband Billy and brother Derek. The Matriarch of the family will be missed greatly by her daughters Lesley O’BYRNE and Alison JACKSON, son-in-law Keith, grandchildren Sam, Robert, Peter, Emma, David, Mark, Lucy, their spouses and partners, great-grandchildren Tadhg, Sadhbh, and Bonnie, sister-in-law Gwen, extended family, neighbours, especially Davina and friends. We are so blessed to have had her in our lives. Her legacy will live on in us all. Reposing in The Fanagan-Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Sunday afternoon (12th July) from 2pm to 4pm. Service of Thanksgiving for Shirley's life will take place in the Church of St John the Baptist, Seafield Road, Clontarf D03NX77 on Monday morning (13th July) at 10.30am followed thereafter by cremation committal in Glasnevin Cemetery Crematorium Chapel at 12.30pm. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to St. Francis Hospice. HOUSES STRICTLY PRIVATE
