THOMPSON - Kinross, Scotland and late of Paris and Sutton, Co. Dublin, June 28th, 2026, at Perth Royal Infirmary, peacefully after a long illness bravely borne, Aubrey John, youngest son of the late John B. (Tommy) and Maureen (nee Fogarty) Thompson and adored and adoring husband of Aisling (nee Macdonald), and beloved and loving father of Wendy (Bordeaux, with husband Jean-Charles Vignal), Lucy (Paris, with partner David Carvalho) Oscar (Glasgow) and Finn (Edinburgh). Legend of a brother of Ian (Lelex, France), Brian (Limerick) and Peter (Arklow), Aubrey will be deeply missed also by his father-in-law Sam Macdonald (Connel, Oban, Argyllshire), his sisters-in-law Keelin (Bray), cait (Limerick) and Denise (Lelex) and his many colleagues in high-tech businesses to whom he was a valued mentor and Chairman. Funeral at Perth Crematorium at 1.30pm on July 15th with a Humanist Service.
