RAINEY - Eithne (née Mulholland, KiIlagan), died 21 December, 2024,

predeceased by her husband, Seamus. On this, the date of her birth, Eithne is remembered with love by her daughters, Marie-Thérèse and Nancy, her granddaughters, Constanza and Sofia, and her son-in-law John (Meade), as well as by her sisters Rosa and Attracta and her brother Colm and by her wider family, friends and neighbours. We thank most sincerely for their support and kindness all those who sympathised with us, those who sent messages, condolences and Mass cards and those who attended Eithne’s Funeral Mass. They join us in celebrating her long and courageous life and in sharing many memories. Special thanks to our neighbours and friends from Kincasslagh, Co. Donegal,

where she spent very many happy times with family and friends. Our deepest gratitude to Rev. P. J. McCamphill and Rev. Fr. Liam Blayney for their friendship and comfort to Eithne over many years and for celebrating her Funeral Mass. We also thank concelebrants Rev. Fr. Tony Devlin, parish priest of Dunloy, and Rev. Fr. Albert McNally. Sincere thanks to Fr. Graham, parish priest of Lavey, who offered Mass for Eithne and said Prayers in The Old Graveyard in Lavey where she now rests. We also thank Rev. Fr. Pat Ward (PP Kincasslagh) who offered Prayers for Eithne during their Christmas Masses. Sincere thanks to soprano Ellen Campbell and accompanist Cindy Yung for the wonderful music, the Church sacristans, Arbutus Catering for providing refreshments and to all those who assisted in the Dunloy parish community centre. We express heartfelt gratitude to all those who cared for Eithne in recent

years. We thank her doctors in Ballymena Health & Care Centre and all in Cloughmills Pharmacy. We thank the district nurses who cared for Eithne with such diligence and expertise, as well as the Marie Curie nurses. We especially thank her treasured Homecare team who so reliably cared for Eithne with empathy and dignity, as well as with the humour and conversation which she so valued.

Thank you to McKiernan & Sons Funeral Directors for their professionalism and patient, dignified support.
