NANGLE - (née Kelly) Hillview, Mullingar (formerly of Sonna, Co. Westmeath) September 13, 2025 - (peacefully) in the tender care of the staff at Portiuncula Nursing Home, Multyfarnham, after a long life, well lived; pre-deceased by her husband Joe and her son-in-law Patrick (McBennett). Sadly missed by her daughter Siobhan (McBennett) and son Peter, grandchildren Sarah, Joseph, Mark and Luke, daughter-in-law Veronica, Sarah’s husband Ciaran and Joseph’s wife Katie, great-grandchildren Molly and Duane, sister-in-law, her cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. May Joan’s gentle soul rest in peace. Reposing at Portiuncula Nursing Home (N91 RW14) today (Tuesday), September 16, from 3.00pm, concluding with prayers at 5.45pm, with removal to the Church of St. Michael the Archangel, Sonna, (N91 V302) arriving at 6.00pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Wednesday) morning at 11.00am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired in memory of Joan, to Mullingar Meals on Wheels. There will be a collection box outside the church at the Funeral Mass.
