HARTIGAN, Patrick J. (Dartry, Dublin 6 and late of Grange, Co. Limerick) 5th July 2026. Peacefully, in the care of the staff at St. James’ Hospital. Dearly beloved husband of the late Ann. Pat will be sadly missed by his sons Padraig, John, Paul and Brian, niece-in-law Jackie, his grandchildren Steven, Scarlett, Fiach, Siún and Daimhin, daughter-in-law Naoise, his sister Joan (Dublin) and brother Jim (Australia), extended family, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his sister Mary (London). Pat was a gentleman and a scholar, and he was a master storyteller, adored by his extended family. An avid Limerick Man, with a love for Rugby, Horse Racing and all things sport. Warm and loving, he had an ability to bring a smile to everyone he met, had a razor-sharp wit and never missed a trick. "If there is another world, he lives in bliss; if there is none, he made the best of this.” Rest in peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, 92 Lower Kimmage Road on Wednesday (8th July) from 4 pm to 7 pm with family in attendance. Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of the Three Patrons, Rathgar, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am, followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park.
