WHELAN, (née Ryan) Maureen (Monkstown, Co. Dublin and late of Oola, Co. Limerick), 5th July 2026 (peacefully), in the excellent care of all the staff at Belmont Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Michael and much-loved mother of Ann-Maeve, Fr. Gerry S.J., Brian and Roger. She will be greatly missed by her family. Her brother Jim, son-in-law Damien, daughters-in-law Anna and Julie, her treasured grandchildren Jennifer, Conor, Sarah, Eda. Louis, Sophie, Isabel, Michael, Laura, John and Maggie. Twelve great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Marie, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Rest in Peace. Removal to the Church of St. John the Baptist, Blackrock on Thursday morning (July 9th), arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
