MILTON, Martiena (Rathfarnham, Dublin 14, formerly Bray, Co. Wicklow) — June 27, 2026, peacefully, in the compassionate care of the team at Blackrock Clinic, surrounded by her loving family. Cherished and much loved mother of Bronagh, Gerard and Naomi, loving mother-in-law of Nora and Alex, adoring grandmother of Cuán, Noah and Éabha. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her family, by Gerry and her wider family, her many dear friends, and the kind neighbours who were part of the fabric of her life. Predeceased by her parents Philomena and Thomas, and her loving husband Richard Holfeld. A celebration of Martiena's life will take place tomorrow (Tuesday) at 12.30 pm in The Unitarian Church, 112 St. Stephen's Green, Dublin, D02 YP23, followed by Committal Service at 2.15 pm in The Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium.
