MELVIN, (née Martin) Deirdre (Malahide) - December 19, 2020, peacefully at St. Elizabeth’s Ward, Mater Private Hospital after an illness bravely borne; beloved wife of John (Shane) and much loved mother of Elizabeth and Eoin. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her family, brothers David, Ivan and Alan, sisters-in-law Ben, Chris and Edie, stepmother Mary, nieces, nephews, extended family, kind neighbours and her many friends especially those in the Belvedere community. A private family funeral will take place due to Government advice regarding public gatherings. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral but cannot due to current restrictions are welcome to leave a personal message on the Condolences section below, by post to Kirwan Funeral Directors, 21/23, Fairview Strand, Dublin 3 or by email to info@kirwans.ie.
