SCANLAN, Máire (née Duffy) (Stillorgan, Dublin and formerly Leopardstown Park Hospital and Enniscorthy) – April 26, 2020. Peacefully, in the compassionate care of the staff of St Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. Beloved wife of the late Séamus, loving mother of Eileen, Marion, Séamus, Liam (Seattle), David and Sinead, cherished grandmother of Brian, Mairéad, Niamh, Luke, Jack, Sinéad, Killian, Desmond, Mark and Conor. Wonderful sister of Oliver (Cork), Liam (Bray), Michael (Bristol), Breda (London) and the late Tommy (Balally) and Sean (Whitehall), dear aunt, cousin and in-law to many, including daughter-in-law Martina O’Shea and son-in-law Barry O’Connor. Sadly missed by family, relatives, friends and neighbours. A private burial has taken place and a memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date, when it is safe to do so. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.
