EVERS, Theresa (née Doyle) (St. Mary’s Avenue, Taylor’s Hill, Galway, formerly Ballygaddy Road, Tuam, Co. Galway) May 4, 2020 Our beautiful mother, Theresa passed away peacefully at UCH Galway after a short illness. She was a force of nature, a warrior woman, a trail blazer, a legend. She leaves behind a bereft family of seven proud children who adore her: Deirdre, Mary, Deborah, Caroline, Frank, Sean and Rachel, and their father, Frank Evers Snr.; her extended close family Anthony, Dyala, Shadi, Lauren, John and Brian. Mourned by so many that can’t all be named, most especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Kate, Victoria, Louise, Toby, Robert, Louis, Emilia, Elizabeth, Patrick, Jack, Tara, Dylan, Noah, Gabriel, Frankie, Maha, Kamal, Dalal, Zade, Chloe, Timmy, Toby, Billy, Máire, Lennox and Linty, her beloved sister Mary and family, and the most loved children of her brother Tom Doyle, and so many dear friends. A private family wake has taken place and a memorial celebration of her life will follow after lockdown. As we can’t gather together at this time, family would be delighted to receive messages from those whose lives she touched on the IT condolence page . No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to Women's Aid whose ultimate aim is to create a society which does not tolerate violence against women, www.womensaid.ie. "There are no explanations for what happens to us in life or the things we encounter, there is no real explanation to it except that there is some, dare I say, divine plan, or somebody is moving the chess pieces around and we just have to accept those moves, I guess" -Theresa Evers, 29th January 2020-
