GITTINS Brenda Violet (née O'Donoghue), (late of Dublin and Shrewsbury, England) on April 29, 2020 unexpectedly but peacefully in her ninety-fifth year, in the care of Radbrook Nursing Home, Shropshire. Devoted wife of the late Tom Gittins and mother to Geraldine, Debby, Allen and Patrick. Daughter of Paddy O'Donoghue co-founder of Shelbourne Park Greyhound Stadium and concert singer Violet Gore, and sister to Sean, Padraig, Donal, Hugh, Peggie (Cashman), Jerry, Walter and Phil (all deceased). Sadly missed by her children, ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, family worldwide and an extensive circle of friends. Due to Government guidelines regarding public gatherings, a small private funeral service will take place in Shrewsbury. A celebration of Brenda's life to take place at a later date.
