SCANLON, Michael, May 4, 2020, (Knocklyon, Dublin 16, and late of Sligo), peacefully, in the wonderful care of all staff at Kiltipper Woods Care Centre. Predeceased by his brother Ronnie. Deeply loved and mourned by his wife Pauline, their sons Michael and Paul, his daughter Anne Marie, sadly missed by his sisters Mary (Power) and Sylvia (Bellew), brother Joseph, daughter-in-law Sofia, grandchildren, Paul’s fiancée Elena, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, friends, neighbours and former colleagues in the Food Industry. May He Rest in Peace. In line with government guidelines regarding public gatherings, a private funeral Mass will take place tomorrow (Thursday) in St. Colmcille’s Church, Knocklyon, (service can be viewed on website at www.knocklyonparish.ie). Michael’s funeral cortege will pass his home at approximately 10.35am on route to St. Colmcille’s Church. A memorial service to celebrate Michael’s life will take place at a later date.
