CALLANAN Fr Stanislaus, O.C.D. (Kilcooley, Co. Galway and Avila, Dublin) - April 30, 2020, peacefully at St. Mary''s Nursing Home, Galway. Pre-deceased by his sister Maureen. Deeply regretted by his brothers Sean, Jarlath and Paddy, sisters Eileen, Carmel, Chris, and Phil, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and extended family, his Carmelite brothers and sisters and his many friends. Due to government advice regarding public gatherings, a private funeral will take place at the Abbey, Loughrea. Private requiem Mass will be celebrated this (Wednesday) morning at 11.30am in The Carmelite Abbey Church Loughrea. Private burial will take place afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
