LAING, (née Ure) Elizabeth May (Lily) (Clondalkin, Dublin) - 28 August 2020, (peacefully) at home after a long illness, surrounded by her devoted family. Treasured wife and soulmate of Sydney, (Canon) and adored mother of Zandra and Hilary, sister of Richard and Billy and Harry (deceased). Lily will be greatly missed by her sons-in-law Andrew (Giles) and Denis (Duggan), her grandchildren Ingrid and Robert, brother Richard, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. We trust Lily is now in a place of no more pain or suffering and we look forward to a joyful reunion in Heaven. May she rest in peace and rise in glory. In accordance with government guidelines, only 50 people may attend the Funeral Service in St Patrick’s Cathedral on Friday (September 4th) at 11am. The Funeral will be by invitation only. Those who would have liked to attend the Funeral but due to the current restrictions cannot, may view Funeral Service on the Church web link.
