BYRNE Pat (The Wah) (Dalkey/Killiney) died October 19, 2013. Remembering our beloved Pat as his birthday approaches we, his wife Geraldine, and sons Rory, Colin and Éibhear, wish to offer to our extended family, relatives, friends and neighbours our utmost thanks and heartfelt appreciation for the many ways we have been supported and comforted by them during our search for Pat and following his death. Our deepest gratitude to all who attended his funeral, sent Mass cards, letters, flowers, cards and messages, and to those who called or telephoned. Our profound thanks to An Garda Síochána and Helicopter Unit, and the Dublin and Wicklow Mountain Rescue and all those who so willingly gave their assistance while Pat was missing. We are truly blessed to have had the care and guidance of Fr. Declan Gallagher C.C., Dalkey and offer him our most sincere thanks. We have been deeply touched by the kindness of the Management and Staff of Robt.Robts./Findlaters who have been a source of wonderful support to us as we come to terms with our immense loss. To all Pat's friends in the wine trade, the Dalkey Hackers, Killiney Golf Club, The National Yacht Club, Dun Laoghaire, and the rugby fraternity, who were all so much part of Pat's life, we thank you for all you meant to him. To Martin Byrne and Staff, Quinn's Funeral Home, Glasthule, we extend our most grateful appreciation for their excellent service. We sincerely wish to thank all those who we are unable to contact personally, despite our best efforts; we deeply cherish their warm and very welcome sentiments. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for the intentions of all.
