McCABE, (Galway and formerly Glenageary, Dublin) We are sad to announce that Patrick McCabe, Architect, died suddenly on Sunday, June 27, 2021. Pat is deeply mourned and sadly missed by his beloved wife of 35 years, Sarah Kelly, their children Barry, Grace and Cillian, his mother Vera, sisters Anne and Celine, brothers Conor, Dermot and Brian, the extended McCabe and Kelly family and also by his colleagues and friends in Architecture, Construction and sport in Galway, Mayo, Dublin and beyond. Pat is predeceased by his father Jimmy. In the words of his children “A lover of life, an endless giver: he showed us the way and did everything with class". A Funeral Service will take place at Barna Church tomorrow (Friday), at 11.30 a.m. Livestream link for this Service : https://churchtv.ie/barna.html Private Cremation to follow. All funeral arrangements will take place in accordance with current guidelines on funerals. Attendance at the Church and Crematorium will be limited to fifty people by invite only. House private, please. The Funeral Cortege will travel from Barna Church to the Crematorium via Salthill Devon Football Club, Drom, to arrive at the grounds at 12.30 p.m, onwards through Oranswell and Newcastle.
