WHELAN, Dermot (Wellington N.Z. and late of Dun Laoghaire) - 25 August 2020, Former member of Monkstown LTC and Bective RFC, son of the late Tommy and Carmel Whelan. Our dearly loved brother Dermot has died suddenly in N.Z. He will be greatly missed by his dearly loved daughter and son, Jacqui and Jamie, his adored grandsons Dylan and Ashton, his brother Brian and sisters Maureen (Duggan), Irene (Mc Hugh) and Pauline (Leahy), nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Michele and brothers-in-law Alan and John, his extended family and large circle of friends. Rest in peace Dermot. You will be forever in our hearts. The funeral service which will be streamed-live from Kapiti Coast Funeral Home on September 1st at 11pm (23:00) Irish Time. Very sorry to hear of the death of Dermot. Many great memories of knocking around Monkstown, and many parts of south county Dublin in the late 1960s and 70s before he went to New Zealand
