WHELAN, (Cork and Barleycove): On December 15, 2020 (on the twenty-third anniversary of his dearly loved son, Darragh), peacefully, in the presence of his loving family at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, Thomas M FIChemE (Tom), dearly loved and loving husband of Eleanor (née Lyons), devoted dad to Marie (Happonen) and the late Darragh, adored Poppie of Harry, Tommi and Freddy and loving brother of Pat Dorrian and the late Bernie O’Riordan and Kitty Whelan. Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, sister, son-in-law Antti, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Tom’s Requiem Mass will be livestreamed on http://www.smawilton.ie/live/ at 10.00am on Saturday, December 19. A private family funeral will take place, in accordance with current guidelines.
