GALVIN, Bridget, (Meadow Court, Ballybrack, Co. Dublin formerly of Cloneyhurke, Portarlington, Co. Offaly and born in Ballylongford, Co. Kerry) January 27, 2021. Bridget (Bride/Bridie) was the last surviving member of her family of 6 siblings – Olive (Cusack), J.J. (Galvin), Billy (Galvin), Kathleen (Hayes), Margaret (Enright) and Val (Sr. Jacinta). She has been in the loving care of Annabeg Nursing Home for the last year. She died peacefully on 27th January 2021, just a few days short of her 91st birthday. Sadly missed by her nephews and nieces, their extended families, her pals at Woodbrook Golf Club and Woodbrook Bridge Club and her neighbours at Meadowcourt. May she rest in peace. Due to the pandemic, the cremation is private; the family plan to celebrate her life with Mass and interment of ashes in Portarlington, hopefully near her birthday in 2022, early February. Arrangements will be notified at that stage.
