WADDING, Fr. George C.Ss.R. (late of Redemptorist Community, Griffith Ave, Dublin 9 and formerly of Waterford City). August 24, 2021 (peacefully) in the loving care of all the staff at the Mater Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Lil and George and his 11 siblings; mourned by his Redemptorist confreres, his sister Rachel (Plymouth), his nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, great grandnieces and great grandnephews, sister-in-law Bridie, his many cousins, relatives, friends and the many he held dearly who worshiped regularly at Marianella, Orwell Road, Rathgar. Rest in Peace. In accordance with government guidance a private funeral will take place in the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Ballyfermot at 11.30 am. tomorrow (Thursday). The Mass may be viewed on www.assumptionballyfermot.ie

I was so sorry to hear about Fr.George He was a great friend of my brother, Fr Seamus Hatton CSSR. Fr George was a lovely man who very kindly kept in touch with me since Seamus died. He will be missed. May he rest in Peace Maisie Hutchinson
