McGETTRICK, (nee Hayes) Elizabeth (Lily), "La Verna", Green Road, Carlow. March 14th 2021, peacefully, in the loving care of Drakelands Nursing Home, Kilkenny. Beloved wife of the late Larry McGettrick. Predeceased by her brothers Seamus and Tadhg and sister Sr. Josephine. Loving mother to Paul, Michael, Colm and Colette. Sadly missed by her sister Kathleen, brothers Michael and Maurice, her adoring grandchildren, daughters-in-law Catharine and Kathleen, son-in-law Shea, step-grandchildren, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. R.I.P Owing to the government restrictions the funeral will be private, please. The Mass may be viewed on the Cathedral parish webcam (www.carlowcathedral.ie/webcam/) at 12noon on Wednesday (St. Patrick’s Day). Burial will follow afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
