HAYES, Rev. Professor Michael A. September 17, 1957 - April 15, 2017 - The brother and sisters of the late Michael A. Hayes wish to thank all those who sympathised with them on the sad loss of their beloved brother; those who sent Mass cards, letters and floral tributes and all who attended his funeral; particularly those who travelled long distances. They are very grateful to Bishop Brendan Leahy, to the clergy from the dioceses of Limerick and Southwark (UK), the clergy of St. John's Cathedral and to his many fellow priests who celebrated his Requiem Mass. Sincere appreciation is extended to Professor Eugene Wall, his fellow professors, and the staff and students of Mary Immaculate College for facilitating Michael's repose at MIC Chapel. It was a final, fitting and moving tribute to their President. The family sincerely thank the compassionate staff of the Mater Private Hospital who cared for Michael during his short illness. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for the intentions of all. Michael's First Anniversary will be remembered in St. John's Cathedral, Limerick on Sunday April 15, 2018 at 12 noon Mass.'Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis'
