Ray was a very good friend of mine over 40 years ago during his Schlumberger time. We lost sight of each other and I am so very sad to hear of his passing. He is in my thoughts very often and I will remember him with love.

I had the good fortune to be a colleague of Ray’s about 12 years ago. I’ll mention only in passing that he was extremely good at his job, more importantly he was warm, kind and humorous. A strong character! He will be sadly missed. Richard

Ray's warmth, humour and candour shone through in both his work and tales of yore of the oil patch. I shared some remarkable and above all 'fun' times alongside Ray at GKP within a close-knit team. Thoughts with his sister. Neil
