MAHER, (née Owens) Carmel (formerly of Salthill and Tuam) April 29, 2020 - peacefully in Leeson Park Nursing Home, Dublin 4. Predeceased by her loving husband Dr. Daniel Maher (Tuam), sisters Maureen and Nancy and brother-in-law Emmet. Sadly missed by her cousin Tommy and family. Much loved mother of Dan, Vincent, Declan, Martina and Joanne. She will be sorely missed by her heart broken family, her daughters-in-law Veronique, Majella and Elma, sons-in-law Seamas and Stephen, her thirteen beloved grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Emer, Tony, Gerard and Trish. Special thanks to all the wonderful, kind and caring staff of Lesson Park Nursing Home, who looked after Mom so well in her final years. May she Rest in Peace. In keeping with HSE advice and Government restrictions, a private funeral will take place at 12.30 p.m., in Christ the King Church, Salthill, Galway today (Monday) followed by burial at the New Cemetery Bohermore, Galway.
