BUCKLEY, Vincent, (Glencarraig, Sutton, Dublin and formerly of Cork) March 25, 2020 (peacefully) in the excellent care of the staff at St. James Hospital, after a short illness. Vincent, beloved husband of the late Maureen and cherished father of Deirdre, Fiona, Eamonn and Aedin, brother of Vera and Angela and the late Pat and Eileen. Sadly missed by his loving children, sons-in-law Rick and Brian, daughter-in-law Kate, grand-children Matt, Myles, Aoife, Ruth, Fionn and Oscar, and grand-daughter-in-law Jocelyn and Myles’ partner Traica, all his nephews and nieces, relatives and friends, and the young pensioners at Probus and CIE. Vincent, in his 93rd year, led a life that is a shining light to all of us and went about every day with energy until the very last. May he Rest in Peace. A private Funeral will take place due to government advice regarding public gatherings. When the current circumstances have passed, we look forward to celebrating Vincent’s life with friends and extended family at a memorial service at a later date.
