HUGHES, Gerry (Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin) - March 12, 2021, peacefully in the Blackrock Clinic. Gerry reluctantly left the life and the people he loved, his wife Anne, son Daragh, daughter Charis, her partner Andy, sister Monica, brother Tony, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, much-loved nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Grateful thanks to Dr. David Fennelly and the magnificent team of nurses and care staff in the Nightingale Unit, Blackrock Clinic. A private family Funeral for Gerry will take place in accordance with current Government guidelines. The Humanist Service may be viewed, tomorrow (Tuesday) morning (March 16) at 10.30am by selecting https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpt27c-Rrt9Y7Vd4EsLj9Qw Anyone wishing to remember Gerry may like to contribute to a cause that he supported: Médecins Sans Frontiéres.
