COLLIER, John (Greystones Nursing Home, Wicklow and formerly of Ranelagh, Drumcondra and Santry, Dublin). John passed away peacefully on January 26, 2021 after a short illness, in the care of St Lucy’s Ward, St Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin. He will be sadly missed by his loving family: his wife Peggy; his children: Declan, Moya, Enda and Tóla; his grandchildren: Síofra, Ceoladh, Namthip and Béibhinn; his brother Albert and his sister Ann; his son-in-law Philip and his daughters-in-law Jan and Aoife; his brother-in-law John and his sisters-in-law Nuala, Olive and Gwen; the extended Collier and Walsh families and his many friends. Due to the current HSE level 5 restrictions on funeral gatherings, the funeral will be private to immediate family only please. The funeral service may be viewed live tomorrow (Friday) morning, at 9:45am at https://vimeo.com/event/139693. Those who would have liked to attend John’s funeral but due to restrictions cannot, may leave a personal message for the family on www.rip.ie. A memorial gathering will be held at a future date. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to the Irish Cancer Society (www.cancer.ie).
