MURPHY, Elizabeth C. (Betty) (Formerly of Primrose Park, Ballyhagan House and latterly of Carrokeel Lodge, Newcastle, Co. Dublin) - Passed away peacefully, in the excellent care of the staff at the Hermitage Medical Centre, June 25, 2021. Only daughter of the late James and Eileen Murphy and predeceased by her brothers Tom and Pat. Sadly missed by her loving sister-in-law Cepta, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins, relatives and all those close to her at the Irish Wolfhound Club of Ireland and the European Federation of Irish Wolfhounds Clubs and many friends. R.I.P. In accordance with current Government restrictions, Betty’s Funeral Mass will take place privately at St. Patrick’s Church, Esker, Lucan on Wednesday (June 30) at 11.15am and may be viewed on the Esker Parish website. Burial afterwards in Grallagh Cemetery, Oldtown, County Dublin. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to The Irish Wolfhound Club of Ireland in support of the rescue and rehome of Irish Wolfhounds via PAYPAL using the account name treasurer@iwcofireland.com

I had no idea Betty had died. I wondered why she did not respond after I sent her birthday card.
