CANAVAN, Columba (Colm) (Goatstown, Dublin, formerly Derry) - 28 June 2020. Passed away very peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving wife and children. A wonderful husband to Thérèse (née Thompson) and fabulous father to Eamonn, Patrick, Maria, Christine and Jennifer, caring father-in-law to Audrey, Janet, Liam and Frédéric and adored Grandpa to his eleven grandchildren. Colm, very much loved, will be sadly missed by his wife, children, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sisters, brother, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Colm’s funeral cortege will depart from his home at 11 am this (Tuesday) morning. Funeral Mass is at 11.30 am in the Church of the Holy Cross, Dundrum with a maximum of 50 people permitted inside the church. The Mass can also be viewed at this link https://www.churchservices.tv/dundrumparish. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Harold’s Cross Hospice. He will remain in our hearts always.
