KENNA, John (Director, CII/IBEC) (Craan Upper, Craanford, Gorey, late of Dalkey, Foxrock and Wexford) - John passed away peacefully on Friday 3rd November 2023, at Wexford General Hospital, following a short illness. Beloved husband of Betty for over sixty one years. Adored dad to Mark, Ruth, Niall and Amy. The best grandad (Pop) in the world to Karina, Mark Jnr, Christopher, Charles, twins John and Victoria, Zara, Nicole, Steven and Alex, and great-grandad to William, twins Luke and Saoirse and baby Phoebe in Perth Australia. Also loved by his children’s partners Eoghan, Denise and Cliona. May his beautiful soul Rest in Peace. Funeral Mass today (Tuesday) at 2.00pm in St. Patrick's Church Monaseed (Y25DF24), followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

From Brussels: In looking through old mails I find the death notice of John Kenna, one of "my" first Irish EESC members when I started work. In memory of fine moments, both at work and private with his family at a time when Amy was cartwheeling
