LEAHY, George Vernon (Blanchardstown and formerly of Clonkeen Road and Portrane) - May 8, 2024, aged 90. Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at the Sycamore Unit, Connolly Hospital, surrounded by his loving wife, Margaret and their children, Mark, Anne-Marie and Patrick. Vernon was predeceased by his sisters Dorothea, Gertrude and Ada. He will be greatly missed by his family, his grandchildren, Anthony, Jonathan, Benjamin, Kate, George, Joseph, David, Ava and Alex, daughter-in-law, Levina, sisters-in-law, Joan, Kay and Marta, brother-in-law, James and his many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and carers. Vernon will repose at Cunningham's Funeral Home, Blanchardstown, on Sunday afternoon, May 12, from 3pm to 5pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Monday, May 13, at 10am, in St Brigid's Church, Blanchardstown, followed by burial in Dean's Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only.
