Mc CORMACK, Rev Fr John (Society of African Missions and Roundfort, Co. Mayo), CC, Breaffy, Castlebar, Co. Mayo March 24, 2020, peacefully in the loving care of the St. Theresa’s Nursing Unit, SMA House, Blackrock Road, Cork. Formerly of Irishtown, Moylough, Philippines and Liberia. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary (née McGrath). Deeply regretted by his family, Una Roman (New Hampshire), Mary Moran (Kilmaine), Michael (Roundfort), Pat (Manchester), George (Wokingham), Kathleen (Cricklewood), Seamus (Claremorris), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours, parishioners and friends at home and abroad and his confreres in the Society of African Missions. May his gentle Soul Rest in Peace. Fr John’s Funeral Mass will take place tomorrow (Saturday) at 12.00 noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Roundfort, with burial afterwards in Roundfort Cemetery. Due to the HSE, Government and Church guidelines the funeral at all stages will be strictly private for family only. Thank you for your co-operation and understanding. The Funeral Mass will be streamed on Roundfort Robeen Carras Parish Facebook page. A Memorial Mass to celebrate the life of Fr. John will be held at a later date.
