RODGERS Fr. Jack (Cappamore, St. Patricks Missionary Society Kiltegan, Emo) February 24, 2019. Joseph, Mary and Kathleen and all the members of his family would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss. We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many clergy, nuns, neighbours & friends who attended Jacks funeral and who have shown us such love and comfort at this most difficult time. For those of you who travelled long distances, telephoned, sent cards, Mass cards, letters and messages of condolences from across Ireland and the globe, we are truly grateful. A special word of thanks to Jacks kind neighbours, his cousins, his Kiltegan Fathers family, all those who participated in his funeral service Bishop Denis, Fr.Tom , the clergy, the choir, Dr. Larry the instrumentalist, Portarlington Golf Club for their guard of honour; Garda Luke, Dr Booth and Mahers Funeral Undertakers for taking care of us and Jack so sensitively. Jack was an exceptional person who touched the hearts and souls of all who knew him. We are truly heartbroken but take great comfort in knowing that he was so dearly loved by so many friends and colleagues throughout his life and travels. As it would be impossible to thank you all individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. There will be a celebration of the Eucharist for your intentions.'Speak the story, whisper to the earth.
Touch the moments,
the blessings of rebirth. Taste the wonder, the fragrances, the fears.
See love's unfolding echo,
through the years'
