CARTER, Madeleine S. (MacClancy) (Boston USA) - April 13, 2015, peacefully, at home, surrounded by family and friends. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Anthony Carter, she leaves her daughters Anne, Sarah and Melissa, grandchildren Jonah, Pippa and Charlotte, her sister Joan Potter of England and many nephews and nieces. Born in Ennis, Co. Clare, she worked as a social worker in a leper colony in Malaysia before her marriage and then spent many happy years living in London before moving to Brookline, MA where she was an art dealer.
