RUTLEDGE, Simon (North Wall, Dunboyne and Westport) December 9, 2021, peacefully, in the tender care of Mayo Hospice, Castlebar, surrounded by his family, after a short illness. Formerly of the Department of Defence. Simon was the beloved husband of Lily and the proud father of Emer. He will be sadly missed and always remembered by his wife, daughter, son-in-law Johnny, grandchildren Anna, Conn and Róisín, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Simon was pre-deceased by his parents William and Molly. Requiem Mass will be held for Simon this (Saturday) at St. Mary’s Church, Westport at 11.00am with burial afterwards in Murrisk Cemetery, Westport. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal
