BREHENY (Lucan, Co. Dublin and formerly of Ballymote, Co. Sligo and Ex An Bord Altranais) August 1, 2016; (suddenly), Vincent, beloved husband of Aileen and dear father of daughters Miriam and the late Baby Carmel and beloved granddad of Harvey and Catherine. Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law Darren, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. R.I.P. Reposing at Cunningham's Funeral Home, Lucan this (Wednesday) evening from 6.00 o'clock until 8.00 o'clock. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) morning to St. Mary's Church, Lucan arriving for Requiem Mass at 10.00 o'clock followed by cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Pieta House.

I have only now heard of Vincent’s death and I am so saddened by the loss to the world and particularly his family of such a wonderful man, nurse, teacher and human being. He was a huge inspiration to me. Aidan Browne

So sad to hear of Vincent's death. My thoughts are with Aileen, family at this time. I worked with Vincent. He was a wonderful nurse, a tutor who loved to foster & encouraged students to learn & grow. May he rest in peace. Noeleen Price
