RAFTERY (née Elmes), Ita (Goatstown, Dublin 14) - May 1, 2016, (peacefully), in the care of staff at Belmont House Nursing Home, wife of the late Adrian and pre-deceased by her daughter Mary; she was much loved and will be sadly missed by her daughter Iseult, sons Adrian and Iain, daughter-in-law Hana, son-in-law David, grandchildren Ben, Isolde and Finn, great-grandson Oscar, relatives and friends. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum today (Wednesday). Removal tomorrow (Thursday) to the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium for a Humanist Ceremony at 3pm, followed by cremation. Donations, in lieu of flowers, if desired, to the Mary Raftery Journalism Fund.
