VERSO, Gladys (Gaye) (née McNeight) (formerly Clonskeagh, Dublin 14) April 20, 2023. Peacefully, in her 97th year, in the tender care of all the wonderful staff at Mount Tabor Nursing Home, Sandymount. Beloved wife of the late Charles (Charlie) and loving mother of Ken, Derek and Trevor. Sadly missed by her sons, daughters-in-law Moya, Katharine and Karen; grandchildren Ciarán, Stephen, Kilian, Andrew, Jessica and Holly; great-grandchildren Freddie, Sophia, Tibo, Killian and Julien, extended family, neighbours and many friends. Funeral Service at 11.00am tomorrow (Tuesday) morning in Sandford Parish Church, Ranelagh, D06 A9P8 followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the DSPCA (online only). At Rest.

I met Gaye a number of times when I gave talks to the Goatstown Ladies. She was always so friendly and welcoming - a lovely warm personality. I was very saddened to hear of her death.
