I have fond memories of Sean and collaborating with him 40 years ago(!) in Offshore research, back when I was lecturing at Queen's in Belfast. He was very generous with his time, an excellent teacher, a fine scholar and overall perfect gentleman. I am saddened to learn of his passing .My condolences to the family.
