JOHNSON, Val (John Valentine) (Emmet Street, Birr, Co. Offaly) - Passed away peacefully on March 2nd, 2024, in the wonderful care of Eliza Lodge, Banagher, having celebrated his 96th birthday on February 28th. Predeceased by his wife Audrey and his nine siblings. He will be sadly missed by his loving family; his daughter Hilda (UK), his sons David (UK), Philip (Scotland), Richard (Dublin), Paul (Birr) and Roy (Galway), sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his fifteen grandchildren and his great-grandson, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. Removal to arrive at St. Brendan’s Church of Ireland, Birr, on tomorrow (Tuesday) at 6pm. Funeral Service on Wednesday at 2pm, followed by burial in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr. Family flowers only, please. “Till we merrily meet in Heaven”
