MURNAGHAN, Bernard (Castletowncooley and formerly Rathcor, Riverstown, Dundalk) December 23rd, 2018, former Vice Principal and Acting Principal, St. Malachy’s Boys National School (Friary), (peacefully), after a long illness, bravely borne, in the tender care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, having received the dedicated care and attention of the staff of Dealgan House Nursing Home, beloved son of the late Peter and Kathleen (née Toner); he will be sadly missed by his loving wife Marian (née Grant), sons Peter and Brian, sisters Anne Barden (Drogheda), Margaret Kenny (Ardee Road), Celia Finnegan (Jenkinstown) and Mary Kirk (Rathcor), brothers Seamus and Martin (both Rathcor), Brian’s partner Rebecca, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. May He Rest in Peace. Reposing at home. Removal on Tuesday (Christmas Day) at 10.45am, to St. James’ Church, Grange, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
