BRIDGE, Philip Lonsdale (Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin and formerly of Bury, England) – June 19, 2023, peacefully, at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin, he will be sadly missed by his wife Joyce, children Ian and Julie, daughter-in-law Julie, son-in-law Abel, grandchildren Henrique, Ema, Millicent, Mungo, Beatrix and Matilde, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his siblings Kathleen, David and Peter. Funeral Service on Friday (June 30) at 11.00am in Dun Laoghaire Methodist Church followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Irish Methodist World Development and Relief.

Don't know why ..but Philip came into my head and I thought I'd look him up on the Internet ..very say to hear of his passing ..and sympathy to Julie and family. Loved driving with him to work most morings ..had to listen to Radio 4's Paliment report ..lhe lived for debate and challenging views. You couldn't get a more professional person and it was a pleasure and delight to witness him rewriting business letters until they were perfect .. Rest In Peace Philip

I was very sorry to.learn of Philip's passing. A thorough Gentleman. My thoughts are with him Joyce and family at this very sad time. May he Rest in Peace. K
