HICKEY, Frances (née Daly) (Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow) - June 25, 2009, following a short illness, beloved wife of Gerry and dear mother of David, Carolyn (Dempsey), Howard, Andrew and Joyce (Puech); sadly missed by her loving husband, children, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her twelve grandchildren, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace. Removal this (Friday) evening to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Enniskerry, arriving at 6.30 p.m. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Saturday) at 10.30 a.m. followed by burial in St Mochonog's Cemetery, Kilmacanogue. Donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society. "The Lord is my Shepherd".

HICKEY (Frances) - On the first anniversary of the death of our beloved Frances, her husband Gerry, children David, Carolyn (Dempsey), Howard, Andrew and Joyce (Puech), brother Diarmuid, cousin Eithne and extended family would like to thank everyone who came to her funeral services, wrote Mass cards and messages of sympathy, sent flowers, made cakes and donated so generously to the Irish Cancer Society. We appreciate your continued kindnesses as expressions of your compassion for us, and of your regard and love for Frances, who lies at peace in the shelter of the Sugarloaf. We would also like to thank the dedicated medical staff who cared for her, to acknowledge the great assistance of the Murphy family funeral directors in Bray, and to convey our special appreciation to Fr John Synott of Enniskerry who conducted two beautiful, dignified, personal ceremonies. Mass has been offered for your intentions.
