O'DONOVAN Diarmuid (Rochestown Rise, Cork) Acknowledgement and First Anniversary, June 8, 1950 - December 28, 2018. On his First Anniversary, Diarmuid is lovingly remembered by his wife Katie, daughter Trudy, son Derry, sister Ena, brother Cathal, daughter-in-law Anne-Marie, Diarmuid, grand-children Ollie and Lyla, nieces and nephews. We are especially thankful to our extended family, kind relatives, great friends and caring neighbours who helped us in so many ways. For Fr. Pat O'Mahony's meaningful and exceptional ministry and support at all times, we are profoundly grateful. We wish to express our gratitude to all who sympathised at our home and attended Diarmuid's funeral. To his loyal staff in the pharmacy and to the wonderful community in Ballyphehane, we express our deepest appreciation and gratitude. A special word of thanks to his many friends and colleagues in pharmacy for their kindness, recognition and support. Sincere thank you to the attentive staff at the Mardyke Gym. To the ambulance service and paramedics, many thanks for their dedicated care. Thank you in particular to the nurses and doctors in the Emergency Department and in the I.C.U in C.U.H. for their professional care of Diarmuid and his family. The organ donor team, through their professionalism and expertise, afforded us the dignity and time needed to come to terms with our devastating loss. To our many friends in Arc House, we thank you for your support. To those who contributed to the uplifting music which so enhanced the funeral ceremony, we thank you. We are sincerely grateful for the beautiful floral arrangements. For their sensitivity and guidance, we thank O'Sullivan's Undertakers. Mass cards, letters of sympathy and donations to Arc House are sincerely acknowledged. To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. Diarmuid's First Anniversary Mass is at 11.00 a.m. on Sunday, December 29, in St. Patrick's Church, Rochestown.Codladh sámh a Dhiarmuid.
