FEEHAN Michael (Cabinteely, Dublin and late of Brockagh, Westport), Died September 7, 2017. Following the unexpected and untimely death of Michael, the Feehan family would like to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us on our recent sad loss. We thank the extended family and the many neighbours and friends who attended the Funeral Rites. Thank you to all who made donations to the St. Vincent de Paul in Michael's memory. Our sincere appreciation to Fr. Patrick Mangan for his spiritual guidance and comfort throughout this time, for his prayers and compassion and for celebrating Michael's Requiem Mass together with concelebrants Fr. Peadar Murney, Fr. Michael Irwin, Fr. Dan O'Callaghan and Fr. Gerard Tyrrell. Special thanks to Rob and Nicole for the uplifting music and singing and to all who participated in making this final farewell so special. We thank sacristan, Raymond Harvey, for the great support received during all the Funeral Rites. We deeply appreciate the love, comfort and practical support received from Archbishop Martin and the priests of the Dublin Diocese at the time of Michael's passing in Lourdes. We would particularly like to thank Fr. John Gilligan and Fr. Martin Noone. We thank them all for the Masses and prayers offered for Michael and for us, his family, throughout the Pilgrimage days and for their compassion towards us. The midnight Mass at the Grotto was particularly uplifting. We extend our sincere gratitude to our fellow Lourdes Pilgrims and Volunteers and especially to Sr. Rose and Sr. Mary from the Columban Order who gave us immense support during a very difficult time. We ask God to bless all Dublin Diocesan Volunteers for their generosity of spirit and for the loving and compassionate manner in which they carry out their work for the Sick. We thank Joe Walsh Tours and Massey Brothers Funeral Directors for supporting us in a very compassionate manner. The kindness and goodwill expressed in letters, Mass cards and sympathy cards was immense. The tenderness and warmth extended to us by everyone will never be forgotten and will remain in our hearts as a reminder of the love felt by many for Michael. We thank God deeply and sincerely for "the gift" Michael has been in our lives. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep gratitude and appreciation for all the sympathy shown to us during this extremely difficult period. The Holy Sacrifice of The Mass will be offered for your intentions. Remembered with love, forever and always, by Kathleen, Elaine, Michael Jnr., son-in-law Jim, and grandchildren Louise and David, sister Maura, brother-in-law Vince and nieces Lynda and Deborah."May His Gentle Soul
Rest in eternal Peace."
