CONWAY, Rt. Rev. Mgr. Seamus (Pastor Emeritus Church of the Assumption, Booterstown and formerly Ballymore Eustace, Co. Kildare) August 26, 2020. Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Luke’s Hospital, Rathgar. Beloved brother of Patricia, Sean, Bridget, Paddy, Peter and Tom. Deeply regretted by his siblings, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, along with Archbishop Diarmuid Martin, fellow Priests of the Diocese and parishioners of the parishes in which he ministered. May he rest in peace. The removal and funeral will be private due to current government advice but the removal can be viewed online this (Thursday) evening at 5pm on https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/church-of-the-assumption-​bla​ckrock and the Funeral Mass on the same weblink at 11am tomorrow (Friday) morning. If anyone would like to leave a message, please do so in the ‘Condolences’ section on www.irishtimes.com.

<p>A true gentleman</p> Seamus you were a kind, compassionate and caring man and gave so much to us all in the Parish. You lead by example but always your generosity of spirit and sense of humor shone out. Thank you. You were a champion for many without a voice and did so many kind deeds that no one was aware of. You are a huge loss to us all. I will miss seeing you and your warm smile after mass. Rest In Peace
